How do I get my Hard Rock Bet win/loss statement and W-2G forms?
By the W2gMatch team · Sources checked 09-11-2026 · General information, not tax advice.
Sign in to Hard Rock Unity, open your Account page and click the Win/Loss link for the year. The steps below were read from Hard Rock Bet's own help page on 09-05-2026. The statement covers every wager on the account; W-2Gs for reportable wins come separately, and the IRS already holds a copy of each.
What Hard Rock Bet issues, and when
An online casino issues a Form W-2G for a slot, bingo or keno payout at or above the reporting threshold ($2,000 for 2026) and for other games under the 300-times-the-wager test; table-game play rarely produces one. Every wager is on the account, so the annual statement covers all play.
Separately, Hard Rock Bet provides an annual win/loss statement built from every wager on the account: coin in, coin out and the net for the year. [1] Statements for 2022 onward are online. For earlier years, pick the casino on the Unity page and fill in that property's request form.
How to get the statement
Sign in to Hard Rock Unity, open your Account page and click the Win/Loss link for the year.
- Sign in to your Unity account at unity.hardrock.com.
- Open your Account page.
- Click the "Win/Loss" link and choose the year.
- Save the statement for your preparer.
These steps were read from Hard Rock Bet's own page on 09-05-2026. [1] Operators move these pages; if a step no longer matches, the help page is the place to start.
What the statement shows, and what it does not
The statement is a summary of every wager on the account, so it is complete for the account, but it is one operator's view. Play elsewhere, and any play on a second account, is not on it. It usually carries a note that it is an estimate and not a tax document. The IRS asks for a contemporaneous diary supported by records such as statements and tickets; the statement supports the diary rather than replacing it. [2] [3]
Read it with the W-2Gs. A W-2G reports one reportable win and the IRS already holds a copy; the statement reports the net of the year's play. The two measure different things and are expected to disagree, and a return has to show how they fit. The reconciliation page walks through it.

Related questions
When is the Hard Rock Bet statement for last year available?
Statements for 2022 onward are online. For earlier years, pick the casino on the Unity page and fill in that property's request form.
Does the Hard Rock Bet statement include every bet?
Yes, for that account. Every wager is placed on the account, so the annual statement covers all play there. It does not include play on another operator or a second account, and it is not the W-2G: a W-2G reports one reportable win, and the IRS receives a copy of each.
Is the Hard Rock Bet win/loss statement enough for my return?
Not on its own. The IRS asks for a contemporaneous diary of winnings and losses supported by records, and the statement is one of those records. Statements from every operator you used, the W-2Gs and 1099s, and your own log together let a preparer show winnings, show losses, and explain every difference between the documents and the forms the IRS matched.
What years are Hard Rock Bet win/loss statements available online?
Hard Rock Bet win/loss statements for 2022 through 2025 are available online. To access them, sign in to your Unity account, navigate to your Account page, and click the 'Win/Loss' link to view and download statements for each year. For statements prior to 2022, you may need to select a specific casino property and fill out a request form.
What information is included on a Hard Rock Bet win/loss statement for tax purposes?
A Hard Rock Bet win/loss statement typically summarizes your total wagers (coin in), total payouts (coin out), and your net win or loss for the year across all games played on that account. While useful for supporting your gambling loss deductions, it is not an official tax document like a Form W-2G and should be used with other records.
How do Hard Rock Bet W-2G forms relate to the win/loss statement?
Hard Rock Bet W-2G forms report specific large payouts, while the win/loss statement summarizes all your wagering activity. W-2Gs are official IRS documents for reportable winnings, whereas the win/loss statement helps recreational gamblers substantiate losses deducted on Schedule A, as outlined in IRS Publication 529.
