Calls
Do-not-call policy
Effective 14 October 2026.
Who calls, and how
W2gMatch calls accounting and tax firms about its software for reconciling gambling tax documents. Some calls are placed by Penny, W2gMatch's AI voice assistant. She says who she is and that the call may be recorded, and she says she is an AI assistant whenever she is asked. She calls business landlines only, on weekdays between 9am and 5pm local time, and never on federal holidays. Every call shows our number, (855) 514-7762.
How to stop calls
- On the call, say "don't call", "remove me", "stop" or "not interested".
- Call or text (855) 514-7762 and say or text STOP.
- Email [email protected] with the number to remove.
A request made on the call is honored on the call: the number goes on our do-not-call list before the call ends, and the firm is not called again by Penny or by a person on our team. A request by email or text is honored as soon as we read it, and always within the time the law allows.
How long we keep it
A do-not-call request is kept for at least 5 years from the day it was made. It applies to the number and to the firm, across every way we call. Our staff and assistants are trained on, and our systems are built to follow, this policy.
Recordings
Calls placed by Penny are recorded. The call says so at the start. Recordings are kept for two years and then deleted. Only W2gMatch's administrators can play them.
